Scary movies!

Well, come on now, what are your scariest movies?
I mean the ones that you are still thinking about years after you have seen them!

Some of mine are "Alien" pretty well all of them but the first one was the best -that scene where the Alien came out from behind the ship's interior was finger nail-biting time!

I also found 'The serpent and the Rainbow" very frightening and "Missing". I liked the original one best although Keefer Sutherland did a respectable job in the second movie.

When I was 10yrs. old we saw an old movie with Bing Crosby, Bob Hope and Dorothy Lamour in it. In one scene they were going to feed one of the natives to the crocodiles! I had nightmares for weeks!!

I'll probably think of more as I let my mind roam and will post them on my blog!

Next week the new auditorium is going to open with a bang up gala of events, so I'll let you know how it goes!

The very first scary movie I can remember, was "Rosemary's Baby", a Roman Polanski film,
and "Silence of the Lamb", which I watched in Germany. Also, I think I believe it was called "Vanished" with Kiefer Sutherland, where his girlfriend gets kidnapped at a gas station and burried alive from Jeff Bridges. It was a very evil, creepy movie.

I always thought Serpent and the Rainbow was really scary. I also really hated that movie that Allen bought and we all watched one night - House on Haunted Hill. I really don't like scary movies, 'cause they really work on me and give me nightmares :(

smiley thanks for your comment Margot!
I got mixed up and called "Vanished" "missing". The original one was even creepier than the Keefer Sutherland one1
