« Rice Crispy Mars Bars! | Main | Just watched "The Alamo"! »
yesterday we saw a blue jay and also some chickadees so I guess we'll have to buy some bird seed soon! Today is Oct.3rd.
Another sight yesterday on our drive into town was the remains of a skunk! Phew! What a smell!
Here's a topic for my blog--try to think of some of the stinkiest things ever!
I would have to say that aside from skunk, I would also list rotten eggs and the decaying, bloated body of a dead horse--we saw this in Antigua--it was awful!
Another topic for discussion! what are some of the scariest movies you have ever seen? Mine would have to include "Alien", "Psycho" (the original), I like the pyschological type thrillers which are often very scary!
Here' s hint from my old Tai Chi instructor for you--if you go shopping to a mall or somewhere and your car is rather isolated, check under the car before opening with a key--thieves have been known to grab people by the ankles. pull them down and rob them!
Yesterday we went to the Craft Market an annual show featuring artisans, cooking etc It was quite crowded and we didn't get there until the last 2 hrs. of the show.
A very good TV show is on the History channel on Thursdays called "Are You Tough Enough". It features the training regime of the SAS and although for the TV series it is only 10 days long --the real SAS training is 6 months long--it does give you some idea of what they have to go throught to pass the entry course. As my nephew, Gawain, is in the SAS and went through this I find it fascinating. Only 5% of the people who go into the training course, pass it.
Do you know the "Alien" collectors edition-the quadrilogy is out now!
I promised you all a Logic puzzle, so here it is!
FOUR VEHICLES
The Terrill family includes Mr. & Mrs. Terrill and their teenage son, Johnny. The family owns four vehicles: a roadster, a sedan, a popular new sports -utility vehicle, and a pickup truck. What vehicle is the usual transportation for each family member, and what is the colour of each of the four vehicles?
1. Mr. Terrill drives the white vehicle, which is not the sedan, to and from work daily.
2. The truck has fewer miles on it than the yellow vehicle, the green vehicle or the white vehicle.
3. The vehicle Johnny drives to school is not the roadster.
4. One vehicle, which is green, is over 50 yrs. old, and is used only during antique car rallies.
5. Mrs. Terrill prefers to drive the red vehicle.

In my Logic puzzle, decide what colour vehicle each person has and then what type. I didn't leave a tab space between colour and vehicle--sorry!

Well, regarding the stench, I would have to say bad milk. I have a very strong stomach, but rotten milk makes me gag. PHEW.
Now scary movies. Hmm...Alien's right up there, along with Excorcist, Jacob's Ladder, Seven, man there's lots of them.
Mugging from under your vehicle? That's what your foots for. Squish 'em like a bug. :~)
"SAS RULE". Sorry Yanks.
The logic puzzle, Mrs. Terrill drives the red truck.
Mr. Terrill drives the green roadster.
