Catching Up!

No Lost Episode tonight--darn it!

It will give me time to type in a new Logic puzzle!

In these next puzzles, the B's, the puzzles each contain a series of statements. However, in each of these puzzles, you will find that one statement is false. It will be necessary for you to identify the false one in order to solve the puzzle.

Puzzle 1B THE MIDDVILLE MUDDLERS.

The Midville Muddlers baseball team depends on four players to score most of their runs. The positions of the four are the three outfielders (right fielder, center fielder and left fielder.) and the catcher. From the statements that follow, determine the first name--Henry,Ken, Leo or Stan surname, one is Dodson position and batting average of each player. Their batting averages are .280, .295,.310, .325.

First name surname position batting avg.

Don't forget! One statement is false, so this is a bit harder than the first set of Logic puzzles!

MERRY CHRISTMAS, 2004, Everyone!

Well, it's a bit warmer today, it was only about 37 below this morning!! Groan! We all wanted to hibernate! It is now about 24 below, we are going to Alfred and Garra's for our Christmas dinner at 5pm. Can we eat any more after the Dec. 23 pig out!!

We all had a ball and it was so wonderful to have all the family and our friends over, Last year I had just got out of the hospital, so I doubly enjoyed this year's celebrations!

Cyan found her present under the tree--a bag of diet cat food! She didn't care if it was diet or not--just ripped open the bag!

I made baked french Toast and Guin made pancakes and Allen made back bacon and eggs. Brad and Margot and the kids came over for breakfast for a change and we pigged out! Alan had to work so he will be over with the girls tomorrow, Cary and Cheryl and Thomas and Cary came over for a quick visit as they were going out to Vermilion Bay to Bob and Daisy's for dinner.

We opened our presents after breakfast and were so lucky to get such lovely presents, I was spoiled as Roy and Guin and Allen clubbed together and bought me a digital camera--wow! Now I have to learn how to drive it!!

We met Cassandra on Dec. 23rd and her daughter Ashley, she is a very nice woman and Alan seems very happy and proud of her!

Well, time to go and eat again!

Will blog later! I will post another logic puzzle too!

34th Wedding Anniversary!

A quick hello before we go out for supper and then I will get caught up later.

Just finished the last of my Christmas cards and will mail them on Monday.

We had a wind chill of 39 below this morning! Brrr!

Yesterday was the bird count day so we saw lots of grosbeaks but hardly any others, it was too darned cold!

Last night I made Oven Puffed Pancakes for supper and I will give everyone the recipe as it is really simple and tastes yummy!

We are going out to Riverview Lodge for supper--a tradition for us, as that it where we had our wedding reception. It was 27 below F the day we got married! Uncle Albin gave me away--Auntie's husband, and we flew to Toronto on the old Transair turbo prop. It was 0 degrees there so it felt like spring! The next day we flew out to Barbados and when we landed there in the evening we got our first blast of tropical air!! It was 85 F, it felt gorgeous--we could smell the flowers and hear the cicadas chirping. It was about an hour drive to the hotel on the north west coast so we were pooped when we finally arrived. Mmm! What a wonderful honeymoon!

Well, time to get my winter boots on and go out to eat!

Best wishes to all, Carol, Grandma, Yorkshire Lass, etc!!

Shelby's cake, Cyan's string and other odds and ends!

Time is flying by!
Guin was helping me wrap presents on the weekend and tonight, Allen made a great supper while we got ourselves tangled up with tape, wrap and ribbon! While we slave away, Allen made Tortilla wraps filled with steak and red & green peppers and onions, plus sour crream and white cheddar cheese--nummy!
On Sunday, we had home made pizzas, courtesy of Allen! He made 7 big pizzas, so we all gorged on them! I made 2 chocolate cakes with the Skor whipped cream topping plus a dash of maple liqueur! Mmm!
Last Thursday was the 1st anniversary of Misha's death last year--we still miss the little guy with his boundless energy and empathy!
However, what has been really strange for the last few days is that Cyan found an old white shoe lace which smelt of Misha and she has just been crying and meowing. We don't know where the shoe lace was and can she still remember Misha? Guin asked Anna, the vet's wife about this and she said she would be fine as long as she didn't go off her food, but it was possible that she could still remember him. We have all been very sympathetic to Cyan and giving her extra pets and strokes, etc. Isn't life strange?
Margot and Jeremy got back from Germany on Thursday and came over for the pizzas and cake on Sunday. It was so good to see them again! Little Jeremy said to me, "I really missed you Grandma!"
I could have cried!
I am so blessed with my children and grandchildren, they all mean the world to me xoxoxo

Roy is just going to make my bed time snack, some English muffin and warm milk--I get spoiled!
Tomorrow I will post the answer to last week's Blog!
Goodnight everyone!xoxoxo
Cas, Mom, etc.xoxoxo
