SOME SAD NEWS FOR US.

Irma Johnson has just died. She was Phil's wife, Roy's old partner. She has had very bad arthritis for years and was unable to do much at all. Greg phoned us this afternoon and told us the sad news.
Greg will be conducting the funeral service which is on Monday at 2 p.m. Roy is going to go over on Saturday for a brief visit. Irma was a wonderful artist and has had many of her drawings published in the form of stone lithographs. She had an MRI scan just before Christmas but no sign of a stroke at that time, in fact, on Christmas Day she started to feel a lot better, less pain, but she still couldn't talk much. She will be missed greatly by Phil, her family and friends
I went to a couple of art courses that she taught in oil painting, she was a good teacher.

I will post more later.

Sorry to hear about Irma mom. I know you two were good friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with Phil and his family.

That's too bad. I remember her from when I was really little. She was a good artist. Mom has some sketches she made in our house.

My original comment on this post was one I had accidently deleted.

I was sorry to hear she has passed away. She was an excellent artist. Mom and dad have some of her sketches in their house.
