It was lovely to talk to you yesterday, even if it was so late!
Your day sounded just great and both Dad and I wished we had have been there to share it with you--except the sky diving maybe!!
here are a few memories for you from a previous life! I'll post some more tomorrow, it's been a long day!

Here you are going home from the hospital--look,, Ma! no seat belts or baby seats!!!!!

Alan gets to hold the new arrival! All the boys were lining up for a cuddle!

Now it is Cary's turn! look at that grin!

Brad now finally get his turn to cuddle!
The next two pics are among my favourites!

You loved to watch what was going on around you in the kitchen but absolutely hated being cooped up in your baby seat! As soon as my back was turned you would try and slide out of it!!
Here is another good one--your favourited Jolly Jumper!

Just loving the freedom of being able to use your little muscles--you were only 3 months old in this photo--what a strong little girl!
Well, tomorrow I will post some more!
Again, Happy Birthday Guin! xoxoxoxoxo

We had a most wonderful Easter Sunday! The weather was glorious, 21C wow! The food was just scrumptious--a pot luck supper with everyone contributing and I cooked a big turkey, what a great day!

me and the buffet with everyone's dishes there!

Just dig in everyone!!

Shelby made us one of her lovely cakes as usual! Yummy!

Happy Easter, Shelby! what would we do without your baking!!

Little Madi tries on my new Red Hat!!

The turkey is definitely cooke now!

This one is now looking southwest down the lake as it approaches break-up time.
Here are some more spring approaches shots from around our lot and by the creek.

These are branches and pods on a tree by the creek.

Looking westwards on Wabigoon lake

"Brewster" puts in an appearance again1 A sure sign of spring!!

Green moss-another sign of spring1

The little creek by the road is meltint and trickling--what a lovely sound!

another view of the little creek bubbling over the rocks!

Roy and his ham radio antenna site on the rocks!

Pussy willows are always the truest sign of spring!
And finally, to end this post for today, here is a pic from 1975 when Guin was a baby and the whole family was together! I'll post a bit more tomorrow, too tired now!

Love and hugs from Mom, Grandma, Carol, etc. xoxoxoxo

This is a sure sign that spring is on the way--Shelby is shovelling the snow off our deck! She did half of the deck and then did more a few days later. Roy finished it off so now it is drying off. Yeah!
I have been suffering the ill effects of a really bad blood blister! I got one on Feb.15th and then got another one 10days ago--bloody, bleedin', bloomin' blinkin' blood blisters! The nurse and Roy have been changing the gauze and using antibiotic cream and i'm on antibiotics as the skin broke open. That's enough of that!
I've just finished my Swedish embroidery runner--at last! I am starting another smaller piece now. Here are some pics of "Trees" as it is called. It is done in pastels-variegated wool.

This pic below is a close up of the middle part of "Trees"--a reflection of the upper part Then I designed the edges with another pattern.

Well, that is all the pics--I am so proud!!
I'm starting a cushion now--a bit less ambitious!
Here are a couple of pics of an old friend of mine--Midge Scott. She is now 84 and we used to golf regularly together. She had to stop last year as she has Parkinson's disease and the trembling in her arms was making it difficult to swing the club! I admire her tenacity trying such a sport when she had such a handicap! I have some good older friends who set such good examples!

The two pics above were taken at Kupper's when we took Midge for lunch. A nice day out! We used the flowers off the table to add some colour to our photo!! Ha! Ha!
Well, 2005 had a few more pics to put on my blog! Alfred and Garra gave us some from last summer so here they are!

Well, most of those pics were taken at Alf's birthday over at Alfred and Garra's house. My birthday is on July 6th and his is on July 7th so I never forget!
The group pic was taken by Jiana, Alfred and Garra's second oldest daughter. Ed is beaming as he knows there is going to be cake! Little Braeden was around 2 yrs old when that photo was taken. Guin and Allen were in Dryden for a visit and Joel and Sarah were down for a visit too. Joel is Alfred and Garra's son and Sarah is his wife.
